I spotted this beautiful tricolored just off the side of the road at the park.

What is unusual, the bird or spotting one off the side of the road? I see, maybe you just meant the composition. No worries.

Thanks, Les. Yep, too many plants but the only other options was to get in the water with the gators for a clean foreground but I didn't have my waders with me.

I am in no way disrespecting your image buddy - it is still a fine shot

I have waders and they can be very useful in wildlife photography

Get some Waders - unless you have Gators on your patch? Then forget that idea
