I have a NikonD500 with the Nikon 200-500mm Lens. I am looking for a solid tripod and gimbal head setup. I mainly shoot wildlife(birds) and rc planes for my flying club. I am not to concerned on the weight of the tripod, as I won't be doing any serious mountain hiking with it. I am 5' 11" so it would need to reach eye level, that is really my one main requirement.
I was looking at pairing the Wimberley Wh-200 with an Induro CLT204. But I was also thinking about the Wimberley sidekick. My issue is I find something different each time I look, so I would love some input from people with similar setups. I really would like to stay around a budget of $1000, including the gimbal and tripod. Thanks.
