If you had a budget of $200-250, what kind of tripod (tripod + head) would you buy for D80?

I'd buy one that suited my needs. If was interested in hiking, I'd look for one that was light. If I was a tall person, I'd look for one that had long legs. If I was into shooting low to the ground, I'd get one that had a swing or reversible column or fully expanding legs.
If I used very heavy lenses, I'd get one that was very sturdy, with a head that can support the weight.
If I shot mostly in a studio, I'd look for one that was sturdy but maybe not so light.
