Tropical Butterflies

Recently, I got interested in photographing Butterflies. There are a few outside Butterfly Vivariums and one inclosed locally, that specialize in North American varieties, And one indoor Vivarium that is part of the Long Island Aquarium center that specializes in more tropical varieties. I thought I'd share some of those in the Macro forum.

Beautiful set Joel! Love the colours in the first and how the black and details in the butterflies pop against them. Great background, love how the butterfly is placed in the light spot. Nice close up on the last. Great work!

Judi, thanks so much. I actually was very conscience of the backgrounds as I worked. The result was very little post needed, including exposure. Of course the artificial lighting was done so that the Butterfly areas just popped.
