Trouble with Picture Quality

I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ7. When I download the pictures to my computer they look grainy. They also seem organish. But when I use my flash, everything seems overexposed. Can someone help me use the proper settings? Thanks,

Can we get some example pics and maybe use a low iso if you're not and if needed a tripod.

Also the exif info will help alot too
