I am having a masking issue. I am not sure if I accidently turned something off or what. I am using Photoshop CC. It is fully updated.
This is what happens: The black does NOT work on the white mask. It also does NOT remove areas on the black mask. So, say I have a curves layer and I want to use the mask. I have to invert it and use the white, but I cannot use the black to erase or to use on the white mask itself.
Any ideas on what the heck is going on? How can I fix it? Do I need to reset Photoshop CC to all of its default settings? If so, how do I go about this?
Thanks in advance. This has become a major PIA, as you can imagine.
