Troublesome but necessary

I wanted a shot that illustrated just how restaurant prep areas and kitchens are in this part of the developing world. Part of this was incredibly bright and the area under the roof was very dark. The scene and light was way too complicated to make a great image but I thought it might be an interesting one.

Obvious prep area on left, kitchen in center and dining table on right. This is a two-burner restaurant, in this case probably serving some sort of stew or hot-pot.
The short burner on the front uses a kind of wood sold in the market place; it must have some specific burning characteristics that make it worthwhile as most cooking is done over charcoal fires.

I can picture how much light/dark contrast this shot would have had ... nice job.
You might want to crop out as much as possible to concentrate.

You did a good job in balancing it out. The following is completely my opinion.. "I like the way the husband turned to do it his way, while the wife looked on to make sure it was done to her satisfaction" See the look on her face?

I cooked like this a long time ago on hunting trips, that is a nice photo of life, another angle that is good to see
