Polarizers generally increase saturation. Whether or not that's 'true' would be subjective.

A true nonissue. If sonewhere there exists a seriously crappy PL with an actually heavy tint to it, dont buy that one. Other than that, ignore the "true color" hype.

Polarizers make greenery brighter, and tend to darken the sky. By their nature, polarizers will change those colors.
