And the results are in... I'm in love! I took out my new (to me) 35mm f/3.5, 55mm f/2.0, and my 150mm f/4 to a nearby town, Aiken, SC and visited Hopeland Gardens.

Sorry for not having anything original, just flowers again, sigh...

I'm in love too ;) with that 57[?] Chevy. Now thats the kind if car shot I enjoy. You did a nice job on them.

Your flower shots - the color seems a bit flat. I'm assuming the Butterfly was meant to be the main subject in all of them, so you should have zoomed in closer in #1,#2 & #3.

In #2, the butterfly seems a tad out of focus also and your dof should have been more shallow so your background would have blurred.

The squirrel - cute shot, but some fill flash would have helped and its too bad that one branch comes across him.

Not bad though. Keep at it.

Love the 55 Chevy great shots

Those all look pretty good. Richly saturated colors.

Are these M42 thread mount models from the Asahai Optical Company era, or are they newer bayonet mount lenses? I'm always interested in thread mount lenses to adapt to my Canon bodies, and have and think highly of the 135mm f/3.5 Super-Takumar.
