Trying my hand at abstract

So I went to shoot fireworks again tonight, and about half way through, I got somewhat bored. So I started toying with different things (i.e. zooming in and out, toying with the focus). Here are a few captures. Obviously these aren't serious attempts, but I do love how some of them came out. Thoughts?
