Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So for starters, I have gone to B&W, and I added some grain and a few other adjustments. I tried the sepia tones, but they didn't look right, maybe it was just the way I did it?? But I am trying to get it to look old. Any suggestions?

Maybe try a subtle vignette?

I played around with it a bit...if you want me to...I'll post it up.

I dont know, but personally i think the grain effect takes away the quality of the photograph. I know what your trying to get at, but the grain effect doesnt seem to work. I dont know, thats just what i think though :P Perhaps see what it looks like in a sepia colour?

Cesium 911 - post away, I'd like to see what you came up with.

Fiona - Yeah, I'm not sure about the grain either. Thanks for the suggestions.

I'll toy around with it some more tonight when I get back from work.

ps, anyonee else who wants to can edit this too, and post their results here. I'll post the orig tonight too if that makes it any easier?

I'm at school right now...I'll post it up when I get home around 2:30. :)

Sorry for the double post...but I want to bump it instead of editing it.

Here it is...

Here is one more version...The tones are a bit softer...

coluldnt see the image..im sure it looks good

Cesium..I think your second attempt(the brownish sepia) hit the mark for that old time look and feel.

Agreed version 2 for sure, thanks. Now what did you do to get it? :)

©AnderGraph I left it longer on the bottom because of the reflection of the boat in the water.

PS: Sorry about the pic, I host them from my pc at home, using IIS. Which makes the price perfect. However, I moved in with a friend, and we are using his router. apparently it has reset, and issued new ips, to the pcs but I dont have the password to get into the router to fix it. He'll be back after the weekend, and the pics should be back up. :(

Heh, more like what didn't I do. :greenpbl:

Seriously...I masked the outside, changed the levels and the then also changed the color balance. I also blurred the background and a small portion of the water...
