Tulips

Hey All,
Just took this Yesterday and thought it turned out pretty good. Lost a bit in the conversion to jpg though, colors really pop in the tiff and raw. if anyone knows of a better conversion that preserves the colors better I'm willing to give it a shot. Thanks ahead of time. Shot in RAW with Canon XSI, EF50mm F1.8, ISO 100, At about 24in away.

It seems nicely done... only its very similar to so many tulip shots. I see it as well done with nothing spectacular in addition to being well done...

It seems soft to me. Is there any reason that you shot at f1.8? You were at 1/1000 shutter speed so you could have easily stopped down for better sharpness and a little more DOF would have been nice too. It's also a hair underexposed for my taste.
