oh tha
This is music to my ears... i really wanted him to be free again..Thank youyes but mostly loved turtle food.. and veggies... i rescued him when it was almost frozen .. tiny little thing and grew about 12 inches across.. i got a pool for him ..set it up in the backyard .. he managed to get out and walked away..hopefully to the pond and swamp area across the street.. i really wanted him to go back into the wild but i was afraid he might not be able to fend for himself.. so he left me no choice ..i had a snapper turtle for many years... love turtles and great photos of them..Off doing turtle things.
I like it.
Thank you, both. Cool, not many people have their own snapping turtle, interesting. Did you feed it worms, grubs and bugs?
Reptiles typically are not raised by their parents, they pop out of their shells and are ready to take on the world on their own. I'm sure yours did just fine after the escape even though you raised and fed it.
