I like the first one. My comments are that the petals in the foreground appear to be a little too bright and a little out-of-focus. To me, the center of the flower really isn't as interesting as the petals and water drops, so the focus should be further forward.

I like the French Bulldog, except the really bright patch on it's back.

I like the bulldog one but I don't like the blown highlights or the random leg coming out of his head.

I like the contrast in the highlights. But I don't like that leg either!

#1- I feel that the center is drawing my attention a lot, only to see that the things in the center (or whatever their called) are covered up by a pedal. Also I get a feeling of unconformed layering or sections in the pedals, I feel that it is overall distracting to the photograph. On another note, the water droplets add a nice flavor and atmosphere to the photo.

#2- I dont have any problems with the composition of the dog, I like where he is placed in the frame a lot. The lighting is hitting the dog very nicely, although the highlights on this back are a little bit overexposed. I wish that the dogs eyes were in focus too, their pretty fuzzy. Finally I dont like the leg sticking out his head though, it doesn't really serve a purpose.
