I like both of these. I have a particular fondness for fences, for some reason. The first one, though, seems to have a rounded horizon. Is that the actual scene, or the lens?

Thanks Yes, that was the actual scene ... the hill fell off a bit on each side.

Nice shots. I'm like Jim, I like fences and I find this one particularly interesting - it looks old. I love the lines and patterns in the first shot. Nicely done.

The first is nice in a minimalist way, but for some reason doesn't grab me as much as the second. If the sky were a bit lighter in the second it would help the highlights on the fence stand out. It looks like you went in that direction already.

The first doesn't have enough drama to hold my attention. The second tells a story of weather, longevity, broken yet still standing even of poverty.
