i love the colors of the first and the combination really works. great job on that one.
the second one seems to busy for me and the unfocused metal in the front is kinda distracting but i like the picture overall. congrats on your lens. i got one last week and although it doesn't auto focus on my d60 it is my fav.

I went back to see what I could do to improve the first pic, and really the tight crop was to keep the white "prongs" of the dishrack out of the pic. The larger the crop, the less mystery.
