Do you like how they came out? I chose auto-bracketing with -2, 0, +2 stops, and had to handhold them, as I no longer own a tripod.

I like the symmetry of the first one. Having the person in the first one shows the huge size of the cathedral. Both are tilted, first is barely noticeable, the second quite a bit more. Beautiful.

With regards to the second, I was torn between choosing the floor as my measurement, or the ceiling. I do get distortions when I use the wide angle (which you can see), and my PS-version is too old for me to later correct those. And as to the leaning factor: I went by the ceiling in the second... Wrong choice?

I see the distortion now more than tilt. I'm not sure now. I think a tripod to ensure the camera being level on all axis would solve this. But I'm not too knowledgeable in terms of indoor photography.

First image is very good IMO. I'm into architecture.

The tilt on the second just ruins it. Was there a reason why you couldn't get a straight shot?

The OP no longer owns a tripod. If you look it is distortion more than tilt. In a tilted shot the whole scene is tilted in the same direction. The lines on the ceiling and floor are tilting opposite directions. I'm no indoor architect photography but in order to have straight lines indoors you would need a tilt shift lens, correct. Also having the camera on a tripod, perendicular to the wall)vertically and horizontally) and exactly level horizontally. There may still be distortion with a non-tilt-shift lens which would need to be corrected in post if wanted.

I like both very much, as for the distortion, I think I focus on the statue, back wall and floor.

OK, I should create a version of No. 2 then where I take the floor as my reference. I can't beat the distortion that the el-cheapo kit lens gives me when used at 18mm, my PS 6.0 doesn't have the feature yet. But I might better try to take the floor than the tops of the columns as reference... yes. Will do.
