Two Odd Little Critters

I dont quite know what these little guys are, but I think the first is the larvae form of a beetle we call the "tree bug" around these parts. Also known as the Pumpkin bug around some parts. Like I said, I'm not sure though. I have no idea what the second is, but it was only about 1mm in length. Both photos were taken on my white lawn chair, hence the white background.

The first one is a larval ladybird. Not sure what the fly is. I like that second image. :thumbup:

I've seen quite a bit of pupa stages of the ladybug. I'm going back for a photo today. I've also got one of a damselfly and a grasshopper to post in a bit.
