The duck butt reminds me of an april fools joke my uncle played on my mom involving a hunting duck butt and a toilet!

The duck looks sharp.. but it also looks like you just missed the timing of it entering the water.. or whatever it is doing. I would personally rather just see the duck. You may have different feelings because you were there watching the duck do its thing, whatever that was, but for me its just a ducks ass.

I like the 2nd one, but I am not sure the vignette does any glory to the image.

Thanks. Yeah, I was watching the duck, and I have lots of pictures of the duck. It was just a different take on it, and I was hoping to get some good splashes in the shot.
I may try the second without the vignette...:)

Cheers

i actually love the vignette. Really draws your eyes to the middle and such. But I prefer processing myself over a untouched image. The first really, honestly is not much for me. Basically nothing good composition wise and its only a little interesting (artisticly speaking). perhaps for the duck, in the future try incorporating another element in the shot and not placing it in the dead middle of the shot. add some depth or that kind of thing. hope that helps.

Thank you. I will bear your thoughts in mind.
