U-8 Soccer

I shoot these U-8 soccer games because one of my grandchildren plays but I end up with large galleries because the parents like to see pix of their kids.
It is difficult to get nice pictures because most of the playing isn't very clean and neat, more like puppies wrestling for a chew toy but parents are always in awe of reasonably sharp and well-exposed.
Every once in a while, a decent even graceful picture emerges and I like this one.

Thats dedication to you. The ginger kid has a broken arm and looks like he's going to make a cracking tackle. Great capture

I liked it because all eyes are on the kid with the ball, he is poised gracefully in the air with his intent obvious and there is nothing that is extraneous.
Believe me, there aren't many of those. Inevitably there is one or more kids looking elsewhere, breaking any tension in the shot.

I see you edited it, Personally I would have just toned down the greens and not all the other colors because those were spot on.

I know what you mean there. I'm editing some portraits from yesterday and I am having to put them up and go back to them.
