I like the idea, BUT, I think it would be a LOT stronger if we could see cow faces and not cow @$$es.

I'm kinda in agreement. Even as a 'lifestyle' portrait it doesn't seem to work. There's too much going on and nothing is isolated. Should I look at the cows asses, or the couple kissing?
Perhaps if they were brought forward and it was shot with a lower aperture (2.8 or 3.2) thus blurring the cows a bit, it make work better.
