What is a content aware fill??

Sabrina,

Steps:
1) Duplicate layer
2) Rectangle selection tool, grabbed the area to be fixed with extra space around the string
3) Content aware fill
a) did an okay job but needed cleanup so I...
4) Added a layer mask to top layer
5) Painted in parts from the original layer, but not the string
6) Healed a few spots
7) Merge layers
8) White balance

Then I touched up the cheeks

1) Always create a duplicate layer
2) Heal away the line on top later
3) A little blur along the line as well
4) Added layer mask
5) Adjusted opacity of healed later mask to 75% to let some of the untouched parts so show through the mask

This was fun!

Content aware fill... are you talking aboutt the spot heal and select content aware?

Content aware fill came in at Photoshop CS5. If you google these terms you'll see all sorts of videos on it. You can select an area that you want removed, like a trash can in a park. Select that trash can with a rectangular selection tool, leaving some room around the can. Then click edit menu, fill, and chose content aware fill. Photoshop will analyse the area around the selected area and do it's best to heal the selection away. Sometimes it does a great job. Could this with a layer mask and you're all set.

Content aware fill doesn't always work well, but it is amazing when it does. I find that if I use a simple rectangular or oval selection tool, and select more than the object for removal, that I get the best results. Sometime Content-Aware Fill will remove the object well, but will leave healing artifacts along the selection. In this case, I always duplicate the layer and then do the content fill. This way, if you have to clean up a little bit of the fill, you can paint the corrections in with a layer mask from the background layer. Good stuff....

Mate, your angle is wrong. You should be really low, effectively below her mid-section, and then she needs to be on a more acute level, her hips pointed to you, rather than wide across the image. I rarely recommend this, but also consider getting closer with a wide-angle and the camera in Portrait (vertical) which will make her legs longer.

And not to be rude, but the pose is a tough one. It looks a little like you caught her adjusting her undies, it's not a very flattering shot.
