The backgrounds arent flattering they're just walkpaths? they don't look nice behind the flower. You took these with a good camera aswell so you should be able to get a shallower depth of field depending on the lens obviously, because id just blur them out as much as possible. N the dead petals detract from it aswell IMO.

This is an interesting concept, but, personally, I am really not into "dead" flowers.
