Un peu d'amour...

I always photograph a kiss on the moment just before lips get in contact to keep a sense of motion in the picture. It is hard because you have to know that people are about to kiss if you want to push the button at the right moment so you have to be very attentive (especially when shooting with a manual focus only camera), but it's rewarding. When looking at the picture, you know something is definitely going on. It shows motion and it's more dynamic.

I shot this last year on the banks of the Seine river in Paris. There were people playing music and dancing, while other people watched. We were sitting right behind this couple and I thought I should keep a memory of this evening.
