Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
At my photoshoot yesterdayI ended up with half of my photos on one of my SD cards not being readable by photoshop CS4 or in camera (it was showing a yellow question mark). I viewed the meta data with exif and evertything looks fine. I also tried ZAR recovery and Stellar Phoenix with no luck. The file sizes are right and the meta data is right but photoshop continues to say it is an unreadable format.

HELP! Im so scared ill have to thell the family that I lost all their images and to please spend 3 hrs getting your infants and toddlers ready again and drag them out for another shoot that they dont even want to be at.

The first question is have you installed the software that came with your camera. If so can you open the files in DPP or Image Browser?

Were you shooting in RAW or JPEG? If you always shoot in JPEG and somehow accidentally changed the format to RAW while shooting then you may not have the RAW plugin installed.

I tried the software that came with it and that wont work either. These are all RAW images. I took about 100 images before realizing that most of them wouldnt playback and the first 40 are fine.

Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery Software is a very good photo recovery utility. I think, you have used Trial Version of it.

There is limitation in Trial Version. in Trial Version, you can view the images but for recovery you need to purchase its full version.

I have already use it three times. I did not get any problem. I recovered not only photos but also audios and videos using this amazing software.

I would like to give thanks to stellar who have developed such a useful software.

Your testimony would be a lot more convincing if it weren't for your sig line.

I do, however, applaud the fact that you use the "unbiased, unpaid actor" approach.

Kudos. :er:

To the OP, I hope everything worked out for you. If you were able to recover images, I would love to know how you did it!
