i could not sleep one night so at 1am i went out taking photos this is one i got

It looks soft, as if your tripod maybe moved or there was wind which moved the tree. What were your settings?

Yes it is soft that's because i used a crap lens and a d3100 lol i spent sometime getting this with what i had, next time im taking my d610 ive done some night test shots and WOW what a diffidence.

soft or not I kind of like it. just puts it a little more on the art side of things...
Doesn't have to be a crisp photo to be a good one imo.
