It's hard to tell what's going on in this picture? Is the child hugging someone?

The face looks too dark. If the intention was to create a dark mood, that doesn't show up in the photo. I'd also like to see more of the top of the head, if that's impossible then a tighter crop.

i love the open mouth and eyes of the girl, and like above poster stated, it leaves the interpretation open to the looker. i like it.

Elementary my dear Watson!...It's a picture of a woman (possibly mother) carrying a child. The mother is wearing a scarf as do many Muslim women and the child's chin is resting on her shoulder. The picture is taken from behind...
