uneven aperture blades again

I am collecting some Zeiss Contax primes for video work. I am trying to get the best quality examples I can find and I have received a 28mm that is in very good condition but with a quirk that I have come across a few time before. One aperture blade seems a little out of sync so the aperture when stopped down becomes wonky and uneven.
I have searched for this and come across a few threads here and there and the answers seem to be very vague and uncertain ranging from "I don't like the look of this" to "that's no problem it wont make any difference" but always without any real reasons why apart from personal experience that they felt the image was fine. It would really take two of the same lenses two be compared to know this way I think and I do not have two, one with the wonky hole.
Firstly I'd like to say that the shape of the points of bokeh around lights etc dose not concern me just the quality of the image and whether the uneven aperture hole will course the focus to be not as sharp when stopped down. I have some idea that deformed apertures will course worse diffusion but it's a very vague idea that I would not be able to defend so I'd really like to hear from someone more technically minded about how this effects the image.
