Unidentified Universal Camera Corporation Camera Pieces Help

I just found these lens pieces in a box of old camera equipment.
There is stamping in the metal of the small round silver piece (which has a lens in it). The metal has worn away and it is hard to read, the best I can see is the following: Universal Camera Corporation HI-_LX F=1 f/2.

The lens adapter (larger silver metal piece) just says made in Germany.

Any help would be amazing.
