Sometimes it just takes a little more looking around. Was this taken at night under a full moon? If so, did you try to make something of the moonlight in how it struck some monuments? If you turn toward the moon, do you see a different lighting quality?

no it was pretty much just dark. A american flag grave flag turned into a giant blur from blowing in the wind on a long exposure hdr

. so i figured i would crop the frame to lose the blurring flag. Pretty much killed it. see that big dot in the middle? kind of annoyed actualy i wanted that shot.

see the flag on the left in this one. The flags really dont help the situation especially in too much wind.

You're just throwing sh1t on a wall to see what sticks.
I've seen good shots from you so I know you are capable.

Put some thought in first. Post what you think is good - learn to self critique.
Say what you like and what does not work in your opinion.
I suspect you felt this was not a good shot, but you posted it anyway.

You are as good as the shots you show.
If you think it sucks, it does.

i think it sucks. I didn't get what i wanted. I hate not getting what i want. i am biased. If you said you loved it, i still would think it sucked because it wasn't what i wanted.. i took the shot and failed to get what i want. so it sucks for me no matter what.
