I like the second one, but the bird looks a little overexposed, particularly the body. Just curious if you used flash with this one?

No Flash. Mid morning sun reflecting off the water, I guess. I used several lights lum masks to try to correct the exposure. This guy just flew almost directly at me and I didn't see him until he was in my face, so to speak. Amazing I got an exposure at all

Sunlight reflecting off the water - never thought of that one - not a problem I have ever had, but I can see how it could affect the outcome.
