The faces just look so freaking smooth!! Maybe some post work?

I didn't look at the links but perfectly smooth skin is usually done in post. Millions of ways to do that. Having good exposure will give you nice skin tones and editing can help with that too.

Those shots are just normal everyday professional shots... done with good, sharp focus... an understanding of how to use DOF to emphasize the subject... and knowledge of how to light the subjects. Professional equipment was probably used for these.. but they could have been done by any knowledgeable photographer with even entry level equipment. There is no "trick" to getting shots like these... just knowledge and skill. Same for the post processing on them.

First two are probably using reflector. Last on is just natural light.

There was probably some editting done in post too but its not easy to tell exactly what without directly asking. You know you could do that too. These people have flickr accounts where you could send them messages.

Nice bright exposure evens skin out a lot.
In post increase the brights in the skin. These look like natural light.
In post it is a recipe, no magic button.
It could be a preset but don't think so.

Smooth skin like that is mostly done in photoediting programs. Increasing light and bumping up contrast a bit gets me nice skin tones like that.

Their skin looks smooth due to slight over exposure. When I started photography I used to wonder how they did it. I used to spend hours fixing skin tone. Then I learned that in natural lighting you can spot meter on the skin to create this effect. Plus some post processing as well.
The problem with this kind of lighting is although its flattering, it can create some flat images.
