Upgraded Adobe

I recently got Photoshop CS3 which is a big upgrade from CS that i have before but im finding it totally different. I started using Paintshop Pro before Photoshop CS and found it much easier to use but wanted to start using photoshop. Does anyone know of any online guide and tutorials to help me transition to CS3?

i was trying to draw a camera shutter and when i went to save it it was a blank image. i was using the elipse and the line tools.

Sounds like you created paths. Paths are nothing until you stroke them or make them into a selection.

So i spent the afternoon in photoshop to see what i could make. and after finding out that i needed to make strokes out of my line and circle paths.

Instead of stroking, try making your path closed so you can "fill" it. Then select "anti-aliasing" and you won't have all those jaggies.
