Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Okay, I have several general questions about computer add ons and photography etc. I hope someone can help and the answers are EASY.

#1. Do I have to have a photo on another site to insert one in a typical post?

#2. What would be a couple of options for "Free Hosting" ?

#3. Can I upload one from my hard drive directly to this site?

#4. Is there a page here that describes how to do it?

#5. Does a photo/negative scanner exist that can scan really old negatives and old photos without overheating them for under $200.00 I'm not cheap, I'm paying off my copays on about $140,000.00 worth of surgeries in the last 7 months and my disability check isn't that great . OUCH OUCH

Thanks for the advice and any and all potential wise cracks LOL

photobucket.com answers all your questions basically... You upload them, then it'll give you a "forum" link" that has then you just use that....it's pretty straight forward when you get to it.

5 though...I've never done...

Hi

#1. Do I have to have a photo on another site to insert one in a typical post?

Yes, unless you subscribe to the forum, then you can host them here.
#2. What would be a couple of options for "Free Hosting" ?

Photobucket, as mentioned before and flickr. I've used both and liked flickr more. Gives more options to organize your photos.

#3. Can I upload one from my hard drive directly to this site?

See 1 above

#4. Is there a page here that describes how to do it?

Yep, lemme search for it and I'll link you.

#5. Does a photo/negative scanner exist that can scan really old negatives and old photos without overheating them for under $200.00 I'm not cheap, I'm paying off my copays on about $140,000.00 worth of surgeries in the last 7 months and my disability check isn't that great . OUCH OUCH

All I can say is... OUCH. Don't know about the scanner
