i like this picture better than the other one but you should have included a bit more of the path to the left so that it coincides with the left third, it looks unfinished like that - and that way the deer would have been off-center, it's right in the middle now! hope that helps - try it again if you are lucky enough to get another deer at the same spot

It’s often not possible to re-shoot wild life, try cropping so, the deer so it is not in the center of frame, try to remember this
