Urgent! Regarding Sigma Lenses for Sony E-Mount!

Hey there everyone!

I'm about to leave for a month on a trip, and I was looking at picking up the Sigma 30mm F/2.8 prime for Sony EMount.

Here's my predicament.

There are TWO versions?!

Sigma 30mm F/2.8 EX DN (has a ribbed texture grip)
Sigma 30mm f/2.8 EX DN Lens for Sony E Mount Cameras 330965 B&H

Sigma 30mm F/2.8 DN A (Sleek, no texture, from their "Art" line of lenses)
Sigma 30mm f/2.8 DN Lens for Sony E-mount Cameras (Black) 33B965

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? Their specs look identical but I have no idea...

I work for a cam store but we can't have one ordered in before I leave, and there's a couple shops in my city (Calgary, Alberta) that have one of each.

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!

One has texture, and one doesn't. But considering the ribbed version isn't available I'd say your choice just got easier.

One of the shops in my town still carries the ribbed one, and the awful ****ty store that I don't wanna deal has the Art one. :S I'm kind of leaning towards the Art one to be completely honest.

The Arts lens is newer, and with better materials and results.

Sounds like another item is being compared here !!! When did we stop talking about lenses !!!
