Do you guys do it? If so, is it on Low, Standard or High?
I've noticed it helps alot before switching it to Camera Raw for even further reduction.

I don't like using the camera's NR because Lightroom 3 has such good NR functions. Plus that gives me a lot more control over how much NR and what kind I want to use.

Yes I do NW through Camera RAW and it works wonders. I also shoot in RAW so does tha tmean I don't even have to leave NR on at all w/ my camera?

Here's a 100% cropped version of untouched photo

Is this another ... "show off your expensive camera" threads?

OT, I've never used noise reduction in camera. I always do it in post, but with a d3000 and noise issues, I just try to shoot with minimal noise in the first place.

LOL dude for all you know I used my iPhone 4.0 with the 10-800mm lens :lmao:

Actually no, I was tyring to find out if this features was something to look into. I always had it on but it becomes an issue with buffer w/ it on. But since I'm shooting RAW, do I just leave it off and let Camera Raw handle it?

So yeah, wasn't sure if a lot of people were using it.

Then again with the "iPhone 4.0" even at 5000 ISO the ISO is minimum. Less than u'd get even at 1600 ISO on a, say T1i.
