This shot breaks a lot of rules. Very busy, a lot of lines going nowhere, etc. etc. But, to me there is something powerful about it.

Pun intended, I assume?

The idea of the image has potential, I think - you were trying to show the clutter & chaos, right? It doesn't quite work, though, I think because the clutter/chaos actually took control of the image away from you. Did you try shooting from below, looking up? Or some other different perspective - IMO the trees in the background interfere with what you were trying to show.

I agree, the trees really hurt this shot. To be honest, I don't think about things much before I shoot, I just aim and let my instincts do the rest. (the stuff I really think about usually looks like crap lol)

Think I'll re-shoot this and see what I can do. Thanks everybody for your input.
