I love shots of this type. I like darker images than most people do, but this one needs just a tiny bit of light IMO. Did you do a vignette? Maybe back it off a bit. Sil, your work is always wonderful, and I know to always look to see what you've shared with us this time. I must have missed this one before too.

Oh, man! Love the colors! I like how some of the dark feathers blend into the darker parts of the background while others stand out against the brighter parts. I think it has good balance myself.
