Vibration

An Indian woman took Charlie Parker out into the desert and told him the desert was alive, that each and every plant had a life force within. She stood him near a bush and told him to calm himself, and that he could feel the vibration of the plant. He closed his eyes and he could feel the plant being alive.

A few days ago after hurrying across the desert to spot a sunset, I came across this cholla cactus waiting out the last few moments of the day. I set up focusing on the plant and set the exposure. Then I calmed myself and closed my eyes to experience these vibrations, and sure enough, I could.

It's true as close as I can tell. Charlie Parker passed away about 4 years ago. He was known locally for building 4-wheel-drive stage coaches and exploring the desert. He was good at, and loved to tell stories about the desert. Especially the one where he was abducted by aliens.
