video capture

My first post and I would like to know if it is possible to create a still from a video. Or can one freeze or pause a given video and this is on the Internet.
If it is possible and requires support devices(s) please advise

You mean....take a photo of a particular scene from a video? Sure...hit Pause at the part, then hit control-printscreen....then open up paint and hit CTRL+V to paste it.
