So you managed to take a photo of the "original Vikings", but they were so out of their time, there was a bank building in the background that you had to replace??? :scratch: Cool!

What kind of enactment was it?
Do you think that "Vikings" and this kind of "softness" in your photo go well together? Do you think they actually were quite the "softies" at heart?

The EXIF data says this shot was taken around 1020 AD...

Cool photo. I'm not sure if the softness works or not, I'm a beginner, and I'm just not sure. But LaFoto's really smart, so I'm sure she is correct in her question. On one side it does soften them up, but on the other, it gives it a kind of surreal look. Like I said, I just don't know.

i like the subtle 'orton' treatment (?). dreamy. reminds a deck of tarot cards i know of.

Well these are real vikings from Denmark, they sailed over to Ireland in a rebuilt longship in Denmark last year and then sailed back to Denmark last month in the ship, the Sea Stallion: http://www.seastallion.ie/
