Volunteering

Hey guys!

So, I just bought the latest issue of Digital Photographer, and it mention the website ShutterMission.org.
This website has lots of volunteer opportunities to photograph people (or animals) in need! I am applying today and I thought it was a great opportunity to help out!
Lots of them are for cancer families, military families, ect.

Some of them, you don't even have to be a "professional" photographer, you can even be a hobbyist.
Just check with the FAQ and read the guidelines!

Just wanted to spread this news. I really love that there are so many organizations where photography lovers like us can volunteer to help.

More people should use their specialized skills as volunteers.

I was looking into animal shelter/rescue and taking pictures for their adoption listings.

This will be my 3rd year doing Portraits of Love for military families at Christmas time. Makes me feel better about myself because I can be a real ***** the rest of the year.
