Pretty nice shot for your first sunset.
Your horizon is tilted, you might want to watch for things like that.

I suggest you do a search for resizing pictures for upload and display. Resize images for the web | Arts & Sciences Computing for example.
Having smaller images will speed upload for you and for those of us who want to look at your images.

Or you might host your pictures on Flickr or another hosting site and just link to them here.

Thanks Traveler, from the iPad the image shows up when I open the page, but when I looked from my phone on a different email, it just showed a jpeg. Thanks for advice.
