Nice shot, though seems unbalanced to me. You've used the rule of thirds, but I'd like to see the bird either fill the frame (in portrait) or zoomed out so it gives the feeling of isolation. As it stands, the rocks and the water compete with the bird.

I kept the rock and the whirl pool in the formation to make a story. The state of security the rock offers and the risk that the twisting water is placing, if it has to get its meal.... so it is waiting for a less troubled time
