This is some interesting "play" with diagonals and the shape of (young) faces, onyl their shape, and the expectancy expressed in their body language. Did the flash fire? The thin shadow line is the only nitpick I have, though I am still debating with myself if it isn't just that line which brings out the shape of the face so much :scratch: !?!?!

Yes, the flash went off (from memory), but I wasn't all that close so it's possible it might not have reached. The shadow you're referring to... are you meaning the diagonal line on the face of the lower boy?

hehe funny how their minds work, thrilled to see the next guy get involved.

On the technical side I'd mess with the levels a good bit to cancel some of the mist and bring back the contrast and colours

I don't really know what I'm doing with Photoshop but I had a go... have I over-done it?
