I want to do something special with this set.

Perhaps a collage or print all 4 on canvas?

She loves collecting rocks and I wanted to capture that magic of just looking for a rock!

I would love any ideas for what to do with these and any CnC will be appreciated as I plan to go back next weekend so there is a possibility of a re shoot.

Beautiful pictures. My only thought is, did you try any shots zoomed in a bit more on her? I'm thinking that if she were a bit more prominent in the shots, but still with some surroundings to show what she was doing, it would make her stand out a bit more in the amongst the scenery.

Did she find any good rocks?

@mwilson263 I wish I did zoom in for a few during this part of the shoot but I just left a really wide crop.

She did find a nice rock! Photos 2 and 3 shot it pretty good I thought.

It was placed there for her to find lol

Nice set. As my 2yr old granddaughter is my most frequent model, I'm somewhat partial to images of little girls! For C&C, as the previous poster said I think they could all benefit from a tighter crop on the girl, but that's just a personal option. Number 1 I think would be better without the tree behind her. Number 2 &3 are my favorites

She is adorable! What about printing and start a photo album just for her? I take a lot of photos of the grandgirls and about 2 years ago started a photo album just for them. Of course I don't print every photo, just a few every other month. The first thing they do when they come over is to see if there are new ones added. They like looking at the album each visit and laugh about something that happened at the time of the photo. My grand girls are 7, 4 and the little one just turned 1.

I love the color/toning of these, I think it boosts the mood and fits well with your location.

I also use a lot of negative space, but in sets like this it really helps (especially if you do something like a collage) to have some varied close ups/wide shots.

@CherylL that's a fantastic idea. I ran this past my wife and we're going to start something like this for our five grandkids (ages 1-6). We have a ton of shots going back so will do a little catch up, and keep it up going forward. Thanks for sharing this!

Forgot to mention they yell at me if there are no new photos lol. I also create 2 or 3 minutes videos of them and put on a tablet. They watch the birthday ones over and over. With the oldest one I started doing 1st day of school interviews. She was in pre-K when I started and now in 1st grade. The best time to interview is the end of the 1st day while things are fresh in their minds.
