Agree about the handle. What's interesting here is the color and texture of the walnut against those of the rusty metal. The shot should have been tighter around those and then you could work on the contrast to better display the textures.

Cool shot tho and lol a peanut being the first...
The white handle is distracting. Maybe some pp to help this or a crop. I think a crop would mess up a good compasition. The background doesn't fit. imo I would try a different angle or shoot again with a shallow DoF to take care of it. Also with a shallow dof you could use an earth tone back drop and give It a nice touch.
I like what you went for here.
