Wanted: very easy to handle p&s

We're thinking about giving our neighbour girl a digital camera when her new little brother is born. So she'll have some nice souvenirs about a very exciting period in her life. She's 9 years old. So I am searching for an extremely easy to handle point&shoot camera for about under a 100 euro's. Preferably with not too many options. Got any tips for me?

My 9 year old has a Nikon Coolpix L11. It's small but has a large screen. Just about everything is automated. There is no viewfinder and to get it off completely auto settings, you have to dig in the menu. I paid around $100 (US) for it. Caution though: if dropped, it is very easy to break. The lens zooms out of the body when it is turned on and if there is even a small amount of damage (a dent around the lens) the camera will not work at all. Of course, being a girl, she might not be as rough on her things as my son is on his.

An older Canon Powershot. Just get the one that costs what you want to spend.
