Warm and Cool - Sunrise shots for CnC

Hello!
Got a couple of rainless days last week and a chance to shoot sunrise again. Typhoons have been coming in one after the other these past few months.

Here are my shots, hope to have your insights on where can I improve on my photos. Thanks!

Very nice. My only comment woud be to watch the size, number and placement of the foreground objects. If they are too big or too many, relative to the rest of the image, then they may detract from the main subject which in this case was the sunset. I think this is the case with the large rock in the first picture.

@WesternGuy, thank you for the inputs too! I chose the big rock as foreground since its shape creates a nice leading line for the compo, and that the other bigger rocks further up the frame compliments it. I do think think the there are too many rocks, and the smaller ones aren't necessary. I have a shot where the waves rushed in, hiding most of the smaller rocks. Will try to post it later and see if it looks better.

I really like the second. The color Of the rocks on the first seems a little flat but I'm not on a computer.

Here's the other version of #1 with the waves rushed in. The sea was calm but there are a few small waves and were able to hide some of the smaller rocks.
